Two Nordic areas to experience this activity intensely, combining many benefits : discovering new skiing sensations, immersing yourself in mountain landscapes, not to mention keeping fit.
The Agy Cross Country Ski Area , 12 km from Les Carroz towards Saint-Sigismond. Situated on a plateau at the gateway to the Grand Massif, the varied slopes of Agy offer superb panoramic views of the Arve and Giffre valleys and the surrounding peaks. Free skibuses provide easy access to the Agy ski area throughout the winter season.
The Col de Pierre Carrée site in Flaine is open from mid-December to mid-April. The loops are drawn in alternating and skating.

The winter version of mountain biking means that Mum and Dad can go on wonderful outings.
Astride a bike with XXL snow tyres and extra wide wheels for a 6km or 10km ride on an electrically assisted fatbike through the woods and along various trails.
On an e-fatbike, Mum, Dad and teens have free rein to pump it up a bit and get the heart going in Les Carroz to stay in top shape.
